Kommoda, better known to locals as Maslo, first stepped behind the decks in 2014. Before that, he played in several bands, a passion he hasn’t abandoned to this day. As part of the TAMAN collective, Kommoda enriches the program at Split’s Kocka club with sets filled with slower techno, EBM, and electro tracks.
After falling in love with mixing, he also tried his hand at production, which, as he admits, he “doesn’t take too seriously even today.”
Kommoda helped set up a studio at the club with two fellow colleagues so they’d have a place to produce, and he enjoys the teamwork that comes with it. DJing, however, is a different story – “When it comes to DJing, it also varies, although I think I slightly prefer to fly solo there.”
