With Lighthouse and Sea Star now behind us, another electronic music festival season is officially underway. The months ahead promise a packed calendar of events along the Adriatic coast, bringing internationally acclaimed DJs and producers to Croatia.
June kicks off with Surf, a brand-new festival from a regional team, taking over the site that was once home to Velvet Festival. Next up is Hideout Festival, already sold out and set to take over the iconic Zrće Beach on the island of Pag.
July brings the spotlight back to one of the Adriatic’s most beloved seaside party destinations, The Garden Resort. The town of Tisno is once again gearing up to host a string of renowned UK-born festivals, including Hospitality On The Beach, Love International, Terminal V Croatia, Outlook Origins and Defected Croatia.
Mid-month also brings two more intimate, locally organised events: Escape The City and Sea Sound Festival, while early August will be marked by the arrival of the psytrance gathering Mo:Dem in Donje Primišlje.
The festival run continues with Balance Croatia, Barrakud, the Dutch favourite Dekmantel Selectors, the legendary Dimensions Festival and the free-entry Pandemonium Festival, which also features a diverse live music programme.
The season wraps up with SHIP in Šibenik, a festival that combines a diverse music programme with an industry conference. Browse the full guide below and find out where and when each festival is taking place.
