The world-renowned Sonus Croatia festival will not take place this year. According to an official statement posted on social media, the next edition is scheduled for 2027 and will be held at a new location.
“Due to issues faced by our key partner at the current location, we lost two important stages (Noa Beach Club and Noa Big Beach). As a result, we are unable to provide the festival experience and concept we had planned and that you deserve”, said the organizers of the festival, which has so far been held on Zrće Beach on the island of Pag.
Although the new dates have not yet been confirmed, the team is already working on a new project for next summer: “We’re turning a new page and already working on something bigger, better, and more exciting. A new location is planned for 2027, where we’ll have the chance to further elevate the Sonus experience. We can promise that we are carefully shaping the next chapter.”
To the delight of local visitors, the festival is staying on the Adriatic coast. “We’re staying on Croatia’s beautiful coastline. Sea salt will remain one of our key ingredients, along with a strong community and the best performers from the global, regional, and local scene”, the organizers say.
Although they are aware that this news has disrupted plans for many, they emphasize that they value the long-standing support of the entire community and do not take it for granted. They also addressed the topic of tickets for the next edition of the festival.
“As a way to honor your continued support, we express our deepest gratitude with a full refund for your ticket – plus a complimentary ticket for the shared Sonus Croatia 2027 experience. Thank you for standing by us during these times of change, thank you for your trust, and for continuing to give us your love”, concludes the Sonus team.
